Parent Support Group committee works towards the following:
- building rapport with teachers
and suporting the committee's decisions
- networking with other parents and
encouraging them in lending their support in all activities
- providing constructive feedback
to help school achieve success
- contributing innovative ideas to
enhance the quality of school programmes
- attending school functions or meetings
regularly
- volunteering services to contribute
to the success of school programmes
- providing professional expertise
wherever possible
- demonstrating concern and providing
moral support for their children
- taking an interest in their children's
well being in school

parents are involved in their education:
- achieve more in school
- have higher grades and better attendance,
and complete homework more consistently
- are more likely to develop a working
relationship with their teachers

- exhibit more positive attitudes
and behaviour
- are less anti-social and less prone
to violence and alcohol abuse
